June 26 – Introduction to the Birds at Woodsom Farm

Meeting Location: First parking area on the hillside on the left side of Lions Mouth Road coming from Amesbury

Bird watching in hay fields can be an eye-opening experience & help one begin to appreciate the world of birds. This program will help you to learn bird identification & observe bird behavior. This site is productive for grassland birds. Our outing will include walking on unpaved yet gentle terrain at a slow pace. Sturdy shoes are necessary. A long-sleeved shirt, long pants, hat, & insect repellent are suggested.
